The project continues to be sponsored by the Department of Classics of the University of Cincinnati and operates in Greece under the auspices of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens and with a permit from the Ministry of Culture and Athletics. Among many visitors to the project we welcomed sponsors Lawrence Stack and Loretta Cummings, an independent film crew (Nutopia Productions) working on contract for the BBC and PBS, Ambassador and Mrs. Pyatt of the United States, Director Jenifer Neils of the ASCSA, and renowned film-maker Philippos Koutsaftis. Workmen were hired from several local villages in the Pylia. Dionysia Yiannakopoulou served as foreman. Our field staff members are mentioned in association with their trenches below. Our team of pottery analysts was again headed by Salvatore Vitale who was assisted by Chris Hale, Efi Tsiolaki, and Katarzyna Dudnik. Anne Feltovich managed the workroom, with particular attention to small finds. Denitsa Nenova was assisted by Caleb Ward in managing the project’s GIS. John Wallrodt handled data management, at times assisted by Donna Nagle. Our conservators were Alexandros Zokos, Nefeli Theocharous, and Vanessa Muros. Shannon Stewart served again as camp manager. Clio Amis helped both Shannon and Anne.
